The Moscow Export Centre (MEC) is a development institute established by the Government of Moscow to promote the products of the capital's manufacturers on the foreign markets.
MEC provides support to Moscow entrepreneurs in entering foreign markets, business development on global electronic trading platforms, presentation of products at the world's largest exhibitions, reimbursement of export activities costs, participation in specialized educational programmes on foreign trade and other support measures.
As part of promoting export-oriented manufacturers of Moscow, the capital implements a programme to organize collective stands at foreign exhibitions and fairs under the common brand ‘Made in Moscow’, which gives Moscow companies access to international markets.
25 food and cosmetic brands from Moscow will be presented at the Made in Russia Festival-Fair in Chengdu with the support of the MEC.
Russian Export Centre JSC (REC Group, part of VEB.RF) is a state-owned development institute that offers support for non-commodity exports sector and provides financial and non-financial assistance to companies of all industries at all stages of entering foreign markets, in particular within the framework of the International Cooperation and Export national project. The Russian Export Center Group incorporates the Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR JSC), Eximbank of Russia JSC and REC Export School.
